A romantic place for dinner a small little steak house or seafood place. A single rose which means
‘I Love You’ condiment with baby’s breath a gift that doesn’t have to be expensive but does come straight from the heart... time, kisses, romance and a txt message with a cute Valentine's Day icon or ringtone and some chocolates, of course!

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 12:04am

a romantic weekend getaway and it doesnt even have to be anywhere extravagant... it could be to the beach or roughing it in the outdoors just as long as ur with the one that makes ur heart skip a beat everytime he looks at u. A perfect gift would be to have the one that loves u cater to your every need without any hesitation.

Honestly, my idea of a perfect date is to stay home on Valentine's day with my hubby. My birthday is the 15th so we celebrate both. I even enjoy just ordering pizza and watching a movie. Then we don't have to deal with the crowds. What I really love is making all my coworkers jealous if I get flowers at work. That's the best.

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 9:04am

The most ideal Valentine's Day would be taking my 4 beautiful kids on a picnic. Sun shining, green grass, maybe a waterfall flowing... Having a location set up & surprising them with balloons, teddy bears, chocolates, and their favorite foods. Being able to spend time with them without the interruptions of everyday electronic life to get in the way. Talking and loving them for being children... Celebrating who they are individually and appreciating them for who they are collaboratively... Hugs and kisses showered unto them from my lips to their hearts...

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 9:04am

A NICE SUNNY DAY AND A PICNIC AT THE PARK TO START THE DAY OFF. LATER AROUND 5 OR 6PM A NICE HOMEMADE STEAK AND SHRIMP DINNER WITH CANDLES OF COURSE. AFTER DINNER GO TO A NICE HOTEL AND MY DREAM GIFT WOULD BE A LONG FOOT MASSAGE WHILE SOAKING IN A NICE BIG TUB.

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 9:04am

Since My husband and I have a 13 month old and have only been out on a date twice since he was born just a date out would be great! Maybe movie and dinner close to home...spending the time just the 2 of us means more than gifts.

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 9:30am

My dream date would be taking my wife to a quiet place to relax. My wife's favorite place to relax is a hotel in San Luis Obispo called the Apple Farm. She loves to "do nothing" there. We like to have their fresh scones in the morning,, with their home made apple cider, and fresh coffee for breakfast. After a relaxing day, winding it up at McClintocks Steakhouse in nearby Pismo Beach, watching the sunset on the water is awesome. On the drive home, a casual day in Solvang is another of her favorite things. This is her perfect getaway date. As for the gift. I enjoy buying her jewelery, but right now she is wanting something odd, and expensive. She has been quilting for years and wants a quilting machine that I cannot afford, I think jewelry and Sees candy will have to do.

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 9:40am

have a date with my wife goning to dinner and the mover.

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 9:54am

Husband gives me a single rose. Takes me out to dinner. We have a glass of wine and go to a movie.

Sun, 02/07/2010 - 12:15am

My dream date would be to have a nice dinner by the beach overlooking the water. Then off to watch a movie or somewhere for dancing. Just as long as we are together. I would like a nice spa package get some relaxation.

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 10:09am

My husband taking me out for dinner & then after we go to a hotel where the room is sprinklewith rose petals allthe way to the bed and we ended the night having dessert in bed.

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 10:43am

I would just love to have a get away ( to any where) with my husband and I. After having a baby we lost our second income so we never have the time or money to even go on a date. It would be so nice just to have a chance to reconnect with each other. The perfect gift would be the gift of time with one another... and maybe a night of room service so we wont have to leave our room!

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 10:43am

My Valentine's day dream date would be an afternoon hike in the mountains or a stroll at the beach with my wonderful husband. After watching the sunset we would then go to a lovely dinner (preferably steak) and talk and joke around sans children. Then a drive to see the stars completed by an ice cream before bed.

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 10:52am

My dream date would be going to a funny movie and having dinner at a small, quiet restaurant where my husband and I could chat about anything and sweet nothings. We would enjoy each others company and he would hand me a white rose which is the color of flower we had when we were married.

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 11:07am

A day on the beach...exploring everything the place has to offer...and then a trip on a sailboat where we would eat and end the day looking at the ocean and the stars. The perfect gift would be some type of jewelry to remind me of that special date. or a Victoria's Secret gift card! lol to always be beautiful.

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 11:15am

A perfect Valentine's day date would be packing a beautiful picnic lunch consisting of meats, cheeses, fruits and a favorite bottle of wine. We would have planned to have a romantic lunch at the very spot where my husband proposed to me. This would definitely ignite all of the love and romance to just remember where my life had just begun with the love of my life.

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 11:17am

To go to a nice dinner just me and my husband (no kids) then maybe go see a movie. I don't need much just alittle time with my valentine.

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 11:25am

A perfect Valentine's date would be to take my wife on a shopping trip. She would be able to buy anything her heart desires, if it be a beautiful dress, jewelry or a expensive purse.
She deserves it !
Our day would continue by us headed out to dinner at our favorite restaurant, where we would enjoy a romantic dinner together. Just some quality time for us to enjoy each other.

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 11:34am

to start the day off with a nice breakfast in bed for my wife. Followed up by a nice lunch out on the town. Come home and relax for a little bit, and head to my wife's favorite place in the entire world... Disney Land. Stay at the resort for the night and watch the fireworks at the park. Dinner at Ruths Cris steakhouse and a couple of bottles of wine to go towards the night cap.

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 11:53am

We are pretty simple people around here, my IDEAL date for Valentine Day would be to stay home, nice dinner for 2, and a movie on DVD... where it goes from there who knows. As far as my husband, he has already planned an expensive dinner out and a movie at the theater... I heard him telling someone he was going to surprise me so don't tell him I know.

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 11:53am

To be perfectly honest here, Valentine's Day is first off not my favorite holiday!!!

But if I were to just out of the blue receive a very unexpected valentine... I'd imagine my dream date to be like this...

A personal delivery of a beautiful arrangement of orchids. (I'd say roses but all too common.) An exclusive invitation for a lovely dinner set for two in a restaurant where dinner has already been pre-ordered (assuming that my date would already know what my likes/dislikes are). Surprisingly, its a 6-7 course meal, yes the works. Before dessert is served, my date would be a gentleman and ask 'the lady' to dance (light instrumental music is playing in the background). After dinner, a drive to a private spot in view of the whole city and depending on the weather, star gazing at the night skies. A lovely conversation to engage in... after a lovely moment made into a memory, my date takes me home, walks me to my door, and kisses me lightly on the lips and he hands me a "HOME-MADE Valentine Card" and says Good Night before he walks away!!!

The front of that Home-Made Valentine Card: A red heart cut-out with the words 'To the Valentine that My Heart has been longing for..." printed on top. Inside: a personal note expressing his genuine feelings for me, signed With Sincere Love, Your Valentine!!!!

Now, this would definitely be a Valentine Dream Date.... for me that is...

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 12:10pm

My perfect Valentine's Date would be enjoying a home-cooked meal that was made by the both of us, and then cuddling up on the couch together to watch a horror movie and sharing a box of chocolates. <3 Ending the night with a romantic kiss.

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 12:23pm

My husband and I are empty nesters, so everyday feels like Valentine's Day! I know that sounds sappy, but it's true, he is my best friend and I love spending time with him no matter what we do. But, Valentine's Day has always been special for us, so spending the day together shopping at a mall and then a nice dinner would be great!

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 12:37pm

Valentine's Day is the day to set aside for showing your significant other just how much he/she means to you. It's an opportunity to make them feel like the most important person in the world and to show that person how much you love and care for them. Valentine's Day is a day for surprises and romance. A day to step away from the ordinary day to day activities and do something that will classify the day as special. To do something that will ignite a spark in your lover's eye.

Leaving a single rose & a note on his pillow before he leaves for work. The note will say meet me at 7pm at this address.

During the day he sends me my a bouquet of my favorite flowers.

At 7pm I arrive at an upscale hotel where he meets me at the door and directs us into the dinning room. The table is set with beautiful china, crystal and a bottle of Champagne. After dinner, he excuses himself from the table and says he will be right back. After a few minutes, the waiter comes to the table ad hands me a room key and a note that says, "see you soon." I go to the room, it is dimly lite, but not too dark. It's a beautiful room with a table beautifully displayed with Chanpagne on ice and lucious strawberries dipped in dark chocolate, my favorite. Lying on the bed is a lovely wrapped gift box and a Valentine card for me. Inside the box is a sexy nightie which I slip into and lay on the bed anxiously awaiting my man. He the walks in........and you can take it from there.

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 12:39pm

So this guy im talking too, he wants to make it special like roses or something. But for me i would to have a candle light dinner, something romantic though. After that, a nice long walk on the beach, holding hands and kissing. After that, go to the hotel that is right off the beach and finish the night off there. I cant go into details but u know where I'm going on this though. For me thats all that I want. Even time I think of him he is always romantic to me, so no matter what he does for me it will be romantic

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 12:42pm

A quiet night at home with my husband and kids.

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 1:23pm

My perfect dream date would be to leave clues all around the house about what I have planned...Of course get rid of the kids. Start off by cooking dinner for my mate. I would buy a red table cloth and put red roses and chocolate all over the table. Light candles all over the house. Also to make his favorite dish. Exchange or gifts.. After dinner go in the backyard with the heater and look into sky and gaze at the stars. The rest is history.....

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 1:58pm

A ROMANTIC DINNER AT THE BEACH. A LONG WALK ALONG THE SHORELINE AND THEN A PRETTY GAZEBO SET UP WITH CHAMPAGNE. THERE HE PROPOSES! THAT'S THE BEST DATE EVER AND IT REALLY HAPPENED!!!

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 2:10pm

Being a busy married mother of three,I think something as simple as a dinner and movie would be suffice.Just going out for a few hours and enjoying some time with my husband(who also has a hectic schedule)would be bliss. We rarely have any time to connect anymore. We try to set aside 'date nights' but sometimes that gets put on the back burner.Although I might be reaching on this one,I think the ultimate date would be dinner under the stars on a deserted beach.I love the smell of the fresh ocean air and sound of the waves(I live in the desert)and along with my significant other enjoying each others company....no children or stress of the day, that would be prime :)

Sat, 02/06/2010 - 2:17pm

MY VALENTINES DREAM DATE WOULD BE TO HAVE A NICE DINNER AT MISTROS FOLLWED BY A ROMANTIC WALK ALONG THE PEIR. THEN WINDING THE NIGHT DOWN WITH A GLASS OF CHAMPAGNE WHILE WE SOAK IN A NICE HOT TUB
